The Central Cariboo hosts several outstanding festivals and events and welcomes and encourages visitors to
attend and participate in a wide variety of activities all year round.
Whether you are a spectator or are right in on the action, there is certain to be something to
delight people of all ages, abilities and interests wherever you are in the area.
From fall fairs to art walks, fishing derbies to rugby tournaments, a flurry of excitement is just
around the corner in every community within the Central Cariboo. There’s the Likely Paddle
Fest, Horsefly’s Mayday Parade, the world famous Williams Lake Stampede and the 10th Annual
Xats’ull Traditional Pow Wow celebration hosted by the First Nations community of Soda Creek.
Stock car racing, bike, board and ski events, garden tours, and music festivals are just a sampling
of the many entertaining options the Central Cariboo has to offer.
You’re sure to have so much fun that you will want to return year after year along with the ever
increasing number of people who already do!
