The Central Cariboo hosts several outstanding festivals and events and welcomes and encourages visitors to attend and participate in a wide variety of activities all year round.

Whether you are a spectator or are right in on the action, there is certain to be something to delight people of all ages, abilities and interests wherever you are in the area.

From fall fairs to art walks, fishing derbies to rugby tournaments, a flurry of excitement is just around the corner in every community within the Central Cariboo. There’s the Likely Paddle Fest, Horsefly’s Mayday Parade, the world famous Williams Lake Stampede and annual Traditional Pow Wow celebrations hosted by local First Nations. Stock car racing, bike, board and ski events, garden tours, and music festivals are just a sampling of the many entertaining options the Central Cariboo has to offer.
